resurrection: enlightened actualization

rough draft musings that i need to get out of my head/work out — work in progress. inspired by infinitebrah and jbp

enlightenment is the experience of the detachment of true higher self from bodily ego, to experience the truest awareness, which is the self and perhaps God — ultimate awareness and ultimate consciousness.

enlightenment/ultimate awareness allows for a peaceful detachment from suffering — a higher plane of consciousness. in itself it says nothing of goodness, evil, right, or wrong for those are limiting perceptions of reality and are things that only makes sense within the context of space and time. enlightenment is peering beneath the veil at the foundation of reality itself, outside of space and time.

when truly understood (or experienced ideally), enlightenment leads to love. when improperly understood (and not experienced), “enlightenment” can be twisted by ego into nihilism.

it would logically follow from attaining true enlightenment, one is able to learn of their true divine self (made in the image of God) and thus would be compelled to treat other humans appropriately. love is the divine in me recognizing the divine in you. the awareness becoming aware of itself. perhaps this is the fundamental birthplace of morality.

from this point on begins the journey of morality. Jesus and Christianity and most religions deals more with the development of “character” – the day to day manifestation of the ultimate awareness embodied in time and place. it concerns itself with goodness, evil, right, wrong or the best way to move forward as individual and society within the manifestation of the illusion of reality, honoring the divine spark/awareness underlaying us all.

in a sense resurrection as a way of life is the combination of enlightenment with actualization of the individual. the simultaneous realization that the “self” is not the ego while pushing to constantly manifest and reform the best ego/character possible. to live a life of resurrection requires humility, openness, and love that allows the self to be aware that the ego is not all and, in fact, that the ego is a character that must regularly be sacrificed and remade. enlightenment aids in this process by simultaneously deepening experienced life and adding mental/spiritual flexibility/fortitude to deal with the suffering inherent to spacetime. it loosens the grip. enlightenment itself is not required and can be circumvented with intellectual presuppositions that most people assume (i think therefore i am) or are taught (we are made in the image of God) or even intuited by certain types of people (extreme empaths, pure authentic individuals, artists, etc)

enlightenment: mystical divine experience with Godself that ultimately teaches the sacred interconnected nature of mankind and reality
